Edward Inman**

Edward Inman works with his clients to help them achieve their financial goals and their vision of their ideal future. Ed has worked in the financial services industry since 2004, and joined Ashford Advisors in 2008. After experiencing the firm’s process from a client perspective, Ed decided to pursue a career with Ashford and offer his clients a comprehensive approach that entailed asset protection strategies along with efficient wealth accumulation. Within his first year at Ashford, Ed was presented the firm’s most prestigious award for our new associates, the Ed Mattingly New Associate of the Year award. In addition to working with clients, he also has accepted a role as a manager in helping grow the firm through hiring and mentoring new associates.

Helping people has always been a passion for Ed. He became a Firefighter and EMT shortly after 9/11. He worked for the Newton County Fire Department from 2002 to 2003, before transferring to the City of Alpharetta in the fall 2003. He stayed with the City of Alpharetta until 2008 as a career Firefighter, and until late 2010 continued his service on a Volunteer basis. He continues to be a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician.

In 2001, Ed graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and a minor in Business Administration. While attending school, Ed served as President of the largest Fraternal Organization on campus, the 120-member Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.

Ed is an Atlanta native, having lived there for over 25 years, except for attending college in Colorado where he met his wife, Sarah. Ed and Sarah reside in Dunwoody, Georgia and have one son, William. They are members of Dunwoody United Methodist Church and enjoy family time together on the weekends. In addition to his family and career, Ed is an avid cycler and enjoys international travel.
