Chris E. Means, CLU®**

Chris Means is Principal of Pinnacle Planning, LLC; he specializes in insurance and estate planning with a focus on life, disability, and long-term care insurance. Chris works with individuals and small business owners to analyze their protection needs and prepare strategies to meet their objectives today and in the future. Chris works extensively with professional athletes, coaches, and sports executives, in addition to their other advisors, as an insurance resource.

Chris provides a comprehensive Protection Review for each of his clients, evaluating nine protection areas to help maximize protection while minimizing costs. He serves as a single source for all protection decisions, making sure all of these areas are coordinated and integrated. The complimentary Protection Review is unique, comprehensive, and is both easy to understand and to implement. It includes the following protection areas: auto insurance*; home owners insurance*; liability insurance (umbrella)*; disability insurance; medical and long-term care insurance; Social Security protection benefits; wills, trusts, and related documents; ownership arrangements; and life insurance.

Chris graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences in 1987 and began his insurance career in 1989. Chris furthered his professional knowledge by earning his Chartered Life Underwriter^® (CLU^®) designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Chris is licensed with multiple insurance carriers for optimum client benefit. He is also a Registered Representative and Financial Advisor with Park Avenue Securities, LLC (PAS). In addition, Chris is a participating member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

Chris has consistently proven himself to be dedicated and passionate in helping his clients with protection planning. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Mattingly Award, Disability Insurance Inner Circle, Guardian’s Leaders Club, Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and 2009 Five Star Best in Client Satisfaction award in Atlanta. He frequently speaks at industry meetings and on financial radio shows on the topics of protection planning.

Chris lives in Atlanta with his wife, Ella, and their two sons, Hatch and Bailey. Chris enjoys golf and volunteers as a youth football, basketball and baseball coach. He is active in his community with several charities and is a member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.
