Daniel A. Taylor, Disability Income and Long-Term Care Specialist

Having been around the financial services industry his entire life, Daniel Taylor joined Ashford Advisors in 2009 with a passion to help people. His father, Leonard B. Taylor, CLU®, ChFC®, spent more than 25 years in the financial services industry and is both an inspiration and a role model for him. His father retired in 2006 after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a debilitating disease that left him unable to work. Daniel knows first-hand the importance of having protection in place for unexpected life events, and wants to help people to have a plan because a disability can affect their entire lives in ways they would never expect.

Daniel graduated cum laude from Georgia State University in 2008. He attended Washington & Lee University in Virginia until his father’s illness prompted him to return to Georgia and help his family in any way he could. Prior to joining Ashford Advisors, he worked as a clerk for a criminal defense and family law firm in Atlanta.

Daniel is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in Duluth and attended Marist High School in Dunwoody. Daniel was an all-around athlete in high school, playing baseball and basketball for Marist. He continues to be an avid sports fan, and enjoys fishing and playing golf.
