Emily Purcell McIntyre, MBA, Director of Marketing

Emily McIntyre serves as the Marketing Manager at Ashford Advisors, a position she has held since 2008. She works with other Financial Representatives and the management team to position individuals and the firm favorably. Emily strategically develops marketing strategies and tactics that will best promote the firm among its clients, prospects and the community. Emily joined the firm in 2005, following in the footsteps of her father and role model, Tom Purcell.

Emily graduated in 2005 from Berry College with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. While at Berry, she was active in and served as President of the Executive Round Table, Students in Free Enterprise, and Marketing Club. She also served on the business school’s Student Advisory Council and was a student representative on the Undergraduate Curriculum Advisory Council.

Emily graduated with her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Georgia in 2008. During her two years at UGA, she was involved in the Graduate Business Association, Toastmasters, and the Graduate Women’s Business Association, where she served as President. She also served as an MBA Ambassador for the Admissions Office.

Emily is an Atlanta native and currently resides in Dunwoody. She and her husband, Craig, were married in 2010 and are members of the Ravinia Club in Atlanta. They are avid sports fans and enjoy spending time with family and friends. In addition, Emily is involved with Women of UGA and participates in UGA’s Terry College of Business Mentorship Program.
