Elie Engler**

Elie Engler’s interactions with his clients are characterized by his conviction and determination to help people make important financial decisions that will enable them to achieve their dreams and goals for the future. When he joined Ashford Advisors in 2009, Elie was seeking to enter a career that would not only capitalize on his strengths, but would also reinforce his desire to positively impact others.

Elie’s dedication to his clients is evident in the recognition he has received, both within the firm and the financial services industry. Elie was recognized by the Atlanta chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors as one of the “NAIFA-Atlanta’s Top Advisors Under 40” in 2011. At the 2011 Ashford Advisors Award Ceremony, Elie received the George S. Murdock Award for the Young Leading Life Producer and the Life Volume Young Leader Award. He was also presented the firm’s most prestigious award for new associates, the Ed Mattingly New Associate of the Year award. This award is based on a multitude of criteria which recognizes an associate’s service to his clientele, professional development and growth, as well as his leadership within the firm and the community. In 2010, Elie was awarded the Client Builder Award.

Elie gained his business experience as a Product Specialist at Bluelinx Co., the nation’s largest building products distributor, where he was awarded “Employee of the Quarter” in the first quarter of 2007 and was promoted three times in a three year period.
Elie was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from high school, Elie attended Nativ, a College Leadership Program in Israel where he studied at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Upon returning to the United States, he attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison where he received a Bachelor’s Degree and two certificates.

Elie and his wife, Elisheva, were married in 2008, and live in Sandy Springs. They are members of Congregation B’nai Torah. Together, they serve as Youth Advisors at the synagogue; Elie is also the co-chair of Young Couples of B’nai Torah. Active in his community, Elie is the chair for the Leadership Committee for the Young Professionals of Atlanta chapter of the American Cancer Society. Aside from his community involvement, Elie has a passion for traveling and experiencing other cultures that has taken him to more than 15 countries on 4 continents. When they are not traveling, Elie and his wife are most often spending time with their families.
