Sam Duffey, Director of Brokerage, Alabama

Sam Duffey serves as the Brokerage Manager and Disability Income Specialist for Ashford Advisors in Alabama, a position he has held since 2009. Sam works with financial professionals throughout the state in customizing executive disability insurance plans for successful business and medical professionals. Sam’s mission is to serve individuals by first serving their advisors with quality education, smart plan design and efficient sales and underwriting support. Relationships built on mutual trust and added-value both are cornerstones of his practice.

Prior to joining Ashford Advisors in 2010, Sam brokered retail buildings and office building for Coldwell Banker Commercial. While at Coldwell Banker, Sam achieved membership in the Commercial Million Dollar Sales Club three times and received the Circle of Distinction award four times.

Sam has lived in the Birmingham area since 1997 and is an active member of the business community. He serves on the board of the Young Business Leaders.

Sam is a 2001 of Samford University’s Brock School of Business in Birmingham. He and his wife, Amy, have been married since 2004 and have one daughter, Livy. They attend Briarwood Presbyterian Church, where Sam is a deacon.
