Chris Buckley

Chris Buckley believes his role is to keep his clients informed and inspire them to action in order to create a better future for themselves. After six years working in the insurance industry with the primary focus of health benefits for small group and individuals, Chris decided to join Ashford Advisors in January 2011. He wanted to pursue a different avenue and utilize a comprehensive platform to offer a holistic approach and bring another layer of value to his clients.

Chris is active in his community, both in professional and personal pursuits. He is an active member of the Lilburn Business Association. Chris also continues to play guitar occasionally for weddings, receptions and private events. In addition, he is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 14122 where he serves as Chancellor. He is on the Fall Festival Committee for St. Stephens in Lilburn and a member of the 11 o’clock church choir.

A 1994 graduate of Loyola University, Chris received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Business and Classical Guitar Performance. He went on to earn his Master of Fine Arts in Music Performance from Tulane University in 1999.

Chris and his wife, Angelle, live in Stone Mountain. Married in 1995, they have three children, Grace, Matthew and Caroline. Chris volunteers as an Assistant Den Leader for Boy Scouts of America and as a Starter for Eels Swim Team, a summer swim league. In his spare time, he is also a triathelete and competes in barbeque competitions.
