Associate General Agent
As Associate General Agent, Daniel is responsible for the strategic growth and development of the firm. He selects, trains, and develops a premier group of advisors that impacts the character of our organization. He works closely with his team to create the best possible environment to foster success in this industry.
Additionally, as Director of Brokerage Sales, Daniel works with the South’s best financial advisors to implement Guardian’s industry leading insurance products. He specializes in the life and disability and brings experience from the business and advanced planning markets as well.
Daniel recently orchestrated the move for the Alpharetta, Georgia branch to continue its growth and to accommodate the expansion of the firm’s footprint. The new office provides a young, dynamic environment for advisors looking to grow their business.
Following in the footsteps of his father Leonard B. Taylor, Daniel joined Ashford Advisors in 2009. He currently holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designations. He is a regular qualifier of the Guardian Leader’s Club, Disability Inner Circle, and Presidential Citation Award and has been a key-note speaker at various Guardian leadership conferences.
Daniel lives in Milton, GA with his wife Heather and three children Owen, Parker, and Cora. They are members of the First Baptist Church of Alpharetta.
