Chad Callihan serves as a Cyber Security Support Specialist with Ashford Advisors, bringing nearly three decades of leadership, mentorship, and team-building experience to his role. Working remotely with the Atlanta office, Chad is dedicated to supporting advisors and helping create a positive and efficient experience for both clients and team members.
Originally from Joplin, Missouri, Chad currently resides in Johnson City, Tennessee, where he recently relocated with his family. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Radford University and spent the past 28 years as a collegiate volleyball coach. Most recently, he served as a coach at Furman University, where he developed a reputation for leadership, communication, and fostering strong relationships both on and off the court.
In addition to his coaching background, Chad proudly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that helped shape his discipline, teamwork, and commitment to service. His years of coaching and mentoring student athletes have equipped him with a people-first mindset and a passion for helping others succeed.
Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his “much better half,” Jessica, and their two boys. As a family, they enjoy staying active and can often be found playing pickleball, exploring the mountains, relaxing at the lake, or traveling to the beach together.
