Christopher Cook

Christopher Cook is a Registered Financial Representative with Ashford Advisors in Memphis, Tennessee, where he is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals and build meaningful legacies. With a deep-rooted passion for serving others, Christopher believes there is no greater calling than guiding clients toward financial confidence and helping them create the future they envision for themselves and their loved ones.

Christopher earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Memphis, an educational foundation that continues to shape his thoughtful, people-centered approach. His diverse professional background brings a unique depth of experience to his role. Prior to joining Ashford Advisors, he served as a school teacher at St. Mary’s Episcopal School, worked as an Institutional Fixed Income Securities Representative specializing in serving institutional investors, and built a successful career as a Real Estate Broker. His real estate expertise included industrial and office properties, landlord and tenant representation, and business brokerage, where he focused on valuation and sales of existing businesses.

This wide-range experience allows Christopher to bring a well-rounded perspective to his clients, combining analytical insight with a genuine understanding of people’s goals, challenges, and aspirations.

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Christopher has lived in Hernando, Mississippi for the past six years. Above all, he is a devoted father and grandfather. He is the proud father of five children, Brittany, Connor, Jacob, Bailey, and Noah, as well as a loving grandfather to Cooper, Haddie, Ezra, Emmy, and Georgia. His family is his greatest source of inspiration.

Outside of his professional life, Christopher is deeply involved in his community. He serves as the Head Coach for the Boys and Girls Soccer Teams at Arlington High School, where he enjoys mentoring and investing in the next generation. He and his family share a love for soccer, music, travel, and spending quality time together, especially cooking and gathering at home.

A talented musician, Christopher has spent years as a touring artist. He is a singer and multi-instrumentalist, playing drums, guitar, bass, and piano, and he also writes and records original music. His creativity and discipline in music mirror the same dedication he brings to his clients.

Christopher lives by the belief that happiness and fulfillment are intentional choices, inspired by a favorite quote from Richard Bach: “What if God looked directly into your eyes and said ‘I command you to be happy in the world, as long as you live…’”
