BOOK A MEETING with Ed

Edward Inman transitioned to financial services in 2008 after a distinguished career in the Fire Service with the City of Alpharetta. At the time, he was also a client of Ashford Advisors and that personal experience with the firm’s holistic approach to financial planning inspired his career change. Having seen firsthand the positive impact thoughtful planning had on his own family, Ed was driven to help others achieve the same clarity and confidence in their financial lives.

Since joining Ashford Advisors, Ed has guided hundreds of families, business owners, and foundations toward becoming more organized, better protected, and more intentional in building wealth—always within clearly defined risk parameters. He currently oversees approximately $200 million in assets under management and nearly $400 million in life insurance death benefit for his clients, reflecting a deep focus on both long-term wealth accumulation and comprehensive risk management. His practice is grounded in disciplined investment strategy, thoughtful planning, and enduring client relationships.

Beyond his individual advisory work, Ed plays a significant leadership role within Ashford Advisors. He serves on a team overseeing the firm’s Investment Department, helping guide advisors and clients with investment strategy, workflows, compliance, and portfolio management. He also leads Ashford’s Training Department, supporting the development and education of advisors across eight states throughout the Southeast.

An Atlanta native, Ed has lived in the area his entire life, apart from attending the University of Colorado in Boulder. He currently resides in Sandy Springs, Georgia, with his wife, Kristi, and their children Will, Lukas, and stepdaughter Micah. Outside of work, Ed maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys biking, fishing, hunting, skiing, and playing tennis.
